Welcome to Vermont Lusitano
Established in 1996, Vermont Lusitano is dedicated to the breeding, showing, and sale of fine Lusitano horses. Nestled on 36 acres in the beautiful rolling hills of Northern Vermont, the ranch is owned and operated by Jane Creagh. Careful breeding with thoughtful attention produces horses that remind us of why we fell in love with Lusitano horses in the first place.

Jane Creagh
travels the country and the world in pursuit of
horses that
exemplify the highest standards of the Lusitano breed. Traveling to
Portugal four to six times each year allows attendance at Portuguese
National
Lusitano breed shows and events, and active participation
in the training of Lusitano horses there.
